Our Autism Assessment and Consultation Clinic

Spectropolis provides comprehensive autism assessments for individuals seeking clarity, understanding, and guidance…

  • We provide in depth autism assessments for children, teens, and adults. Assessments include a clinical/diagnostic interview, rating scales, the ADOS, and adaptive behavior testing. Cognitive testing can be added at an additional cost if needed.

Please fill out the contact form at the top of this page for more information!

  • Adults seeking a more streamlined and lower-cost option may be eligible for a diagnostic consultation with Dr. Connelly

These consultations are shorter and less comprehensive than a full autism assessment. While they can provide helpful clinical insight and guidance, as well as a letter of diagnosis that can provide work or school accommodations, they typically do not include the formal documentation required for benefits (SSI, Medicaid, etc.)

Please fill out our contact form at the top of this page for more information!

  • We provide neuropsychological evaluations for neurodivergent individuals, including assessments of executive functioning, attention, and memory. We also offer evaluations to identify learning differences and disabilities in areas such as reading, writing, and math.

How It Works:

Contact us here! Our team will respond with additional information, and help determine whether an assessment is the right next step.

Expert Leadership in Autism Evaluation:

Our psychologists are trained and supervised by Dr. Julia Connelly, one of Utah’s leading psychologists and a pioneer in nuanced autism assessments, particularly for women and individuals whose presentations may be more subtle or complex.

Dr. Connelly’s work emphasizes thoughtful, individualized evaluations that recognize the many ways autism can present across different ages, identities, and life experiences.

Our goal is not simply to provide a diagnosis, but to offer clarity, validation, and practical guidance for moving forward…

Our average wait time is approximately 2–6 weeks, though availability can vary depending on scheduling and demand.

If you’re considering an autism assessment, we’re here to help. Please reach out via the contact form at the top of this page. You may also email our client coordinator at heather@spectopolis.org to get started. We look forward to supporting you on your journey.

At Spectropolis, we aim to keep our wait times as short as possible!

There are a growing number of options for autism assessments in Utah. However, many individuals and families still encounter challenges such as long waitlists or difficulty finding clinicians with specialized experience in identifying autism across different presentations.

At Spectropolis, our team is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized assessments with particular attention to presentations that may be more nuanced, including those often seen in adults and women.
